	Knitting Gallery I'm an avid knitter and, over the years, have made many shawls, scarves, and other items. My new passion is lacy bed jackets which are basically cardigan-type sweaters but much fancier using lovely soft fibers (I'm fond of working in silk, Pima cotton, cashmere and alpaca). Most of my knitted items go to friends and family as gifts. Some I get to keep, like the little man at left which is what happened when I decided to knit myslef a fisherman. My Mermaid Shawl has been knit by quite a number of knitters worldwide and I am in the process of re-writing and updating the instructions for that. This gallery shows other items I have made over the years.
